Keynote Speech I

Title: Navigating Privacy Constraints in Big Data for Smart City Governance with a Green AI Approach

Biography: Dr. Husni Teja Sukmana is the first professor of artificial intelligence within State Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKIN). He serves as Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology at UIN Jakarta. He is also the vice chair of the Indonesian Association of Muslim Intellectuals (ICMI) for the South Tangerang chapter. He achieved the First Prize in the Teaching Competition at the Final Huawei ICT Competition 2024-2025.

As Secretary General of the Association of Informatics and Computer Science Higher Education Institutions (APTIKOM) for the 2022-2026 term, he is in charge of the enhancement of the association's quality to excel in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and to advance informatics and computer education through strategic initiatives. Moreover, he is actively engaged in research endeavors and the dissemination of journal articles and scholarly books, such as Transformer Architecture for Automatic Brain Stroke Screening from Abstract MRI Images, which examines the detection of brain strokes from medical images utilizing the Vision Transformer (ViT) learning model.

Title: From Sensing to Decision: Building Intelligent Urban Infrastructure with IoT, Explainable AI, and Spatial Intelligence

Biography: Dr. Mohd. Murtadha Mohamad is an associate Professor at the Faculty of Computing, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, specializing in computer networks, sensor networks, and cloud computing.

Dr. Mohd. Murtadha Mohamad graduated with a degree of Bachelor in Engineering (Computer) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in year 2000. Beginning from this point, he started his career as a tutor in UTM. He accepted the scholarship offer from Department of Public Service (JPA) in 2001 to further his study for Master of Science in Embedded System Engineering, in Heriot-Watt University UK, and continued his study in PhD level at the same university in the following year until 2006. Dr. Mohd. Murtadha Mohamad have been awarded PhD in Electrical in 2007 and continue his service in UTM.

His research focuses on microclimate data for heritage building maintenance, underwater wireless sensor networks, and indoor positioning. With over two decades of experience, he have published extensively and supervised numerous postgraduate students, committed to advancing research and guiding future computing professionals.

Title: Empowering SMEs through Intelligent 5G Network Innovations

Biography: Dr. Ismail Ahmedy is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer System and Technology (CST), Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Malaya. He is currently the Head of the Center for Mobile Cloud Computing Research (C4MCCR). Previously, he was the Head of Department for Department of Computer System and Technology, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Malaya and Head for Research Grant Management Division, Department of Research Management, Universiti Malaya.

He received his BSc (Computer) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2006. After completing his study, he has been granted a full scholarship to pursue his studies in Master and PhD where he received his MSc (Computer Science) from University of Queensland, Australia in 2009 and PhD (Computer Science) in 2015. He obtained his PhD (Computer Science) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia specialized in communication protocol for wireless sensor networks. His research interests are WSN, Internet of Things, Energy Managament and Optimization Algorithm.

Dr. Ismail Ahmedy has been awarded several research grants as a principal investigator for MRUN-LRGS, FRGS, IIRG and other research grants approx. RM600K. He has been actively publishing SCI/SCIE (WOS) journals. To date, he has successfully supervised 9 PhD and 3 Masters (by research) students.
